Complementary Angles
Two angles whose measures have a sum of 90.
Concave
A polygon for which a point on at least one of its diagonals lies outside the polygon.
Congruent
Having exactly the same shape and size.
Continuous
Going without stopping.
Continuous Domain
A set of input values that consists of all numbers in an interval.
Convex
A polygon for which all diagonals are located in the interior of the polygon.
Discrete
Inconspicuous; prudent
Discrete Domain
A set of input values that consists of only certain numbers in an interval.
Domain
The set of all input values for a function.
Equiangular Triangle
A triangle with three congruent angles.
Equilateral Triangle
A triangle with three congruent sides.
Exterior Angles
When two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, four exterior angles are formed on the outside of the parallel lines.
Function
A relationship that pairs each input with exactly one output.
Function Form
An equation that is solved for y is in function form.
EX: y = 3(x+5) -2
Hypotenuse
The longest side of a right triangle; the side opposite the right angle.
